Snack without getting fat with slow-carb bean chips

I’m always on the lookout for great tasting snacks that won’t sabotage my no-carb/low-carb/slow-carb diets. For the longest time, the only options in the snack aisle were pork rinds or jerky. Yesterday, I discovered Beanitos bean chips. What a find!

My fat loss regimen does not allow carbs from high glycemic foods and that has been devastating for someone who loves to eat entire bags of chips in a single sitting. Beanitos black bean chips, which are certified low glycemic and low in sodium, are an excellent substitute for corn and potato chips. They are also safe for gluten-free and corn-free eaters. They taste amazing with salsa or guacamole or straight out of the bag.

After discovering Beanitos I did a search for other bean chips and found more products from Beanfields that cater to the same market. However, I prefer Beanitos based on the macronutrient profiles. Consider the unsalted Beanfields chips if you’re looking to minimize the sodium.

Amazingly, it’s a delicious way to take in fiber! 5g of fiber at only 140 calories?!
